We are made of the Rio stuff

Samoa will be heading to Rio+20 soon to commit to a sustainable future. At the Sustainable Development for All meeting in Barbados last week, Samoa signed the Barbados Declaration, which commits our small island nation to sustainable energy targets. The move is one that signifies the commitment of Samoa, but what's important now is not signatures but actions, so if the political will is translated into national action, only then can we truly say we are committed.
